Railway Minister waiting on modernisation of railways
Union Railway Minister Dinesh Trivedi said that a special team from the RPF would be employed to ensure security of women passengers in trains. This would be set up with the support of the state police force. He was speaking at the inauguration of the Kanjikode coach factory.
Chandy said that opposition leader V S Achuthanandhan not participating in the inaugural function is unfortunate. As I was invited for this function, he too was invited the same way. K.H. Muniyappa, Union Minister of state for Railways, minister Aryadan Muhammad, MPs Maraya, M B Rajesh, K E Ismail, Shafi Parambil MLA participated.
