Officials reject Kerala demand on Mullaperiyar strength test
The experts engaged in inspection of Mullaperiyar dam has rejected Keralas demand of digging a 130 ft borehole to test the strength.
Mullaperiyar cell chairman M.K. Parameswaran Nair said they would submit a complaint to the high-power committee appointed by the Supreme Court in this regard.
The surkhi samples are being collected for tests by officials of Central Soil Mineral Research Station and Central Water Power Research Station.
