Kerala to open 10000 Nanma stores
The Kerala government is planning to open 10,000 Nanma stores, aimed at selling essential commodities, including rice, sugar and coconut oil at 20 per cent discount throughout the year, in the next five years.
Kerala State Co-operative Consumers Federation Limited (Consumerfed) Managing Director Dr Reji G Nair today said Chief Minister Oommen Chandy would formally launch Nanma stores, the network of Indias first non-subsidised cooperative public distribution system being floated by the Consumerfed here on April 18.
