Kerala making high in the 57th National School Athletic Meet
Kerala, in its quest for a 15th straight overall title, climbed to the top of the medals tally with a haul of five gold, two silver, and four bronze medals on the second day of the 57th National school athletic meet at the Guru Nanak stadium in Ludhiana on Thursday.
The Kerala side, which was placed second behind Haryana at the end of seven events on Wednesday, now has now a total haul of seven gold, five silver, and four bronze medals, with four days to go. It could have been a far better outing for Kerala but for the extreme cold conditions which prevailed all through the day and came in the way of its athletes from performing at their best.
