Saritha Nair produced before Coimbatore court
Saritha S Nair, an accused in solar scam in Kerala, was produced before a judicial magistrate court on Monday in connection with the alleged cheating of two industrialists to set up windmills some five years ago.
The prosecution case was that two industrialists had lodged complaints with Vadavalli station in the city that Saritha, along with Biju Radhakrishnan, another accused in the solar scam, and R C Ravindran, through their firm ITMS, had promised of helping them to set up windmills in the district.
The firm had taken about Rs eight lakh from a trust and Rs 26 lakh from one Thiagarajan to set up windmills. Meanwhile, she was arrested and lodged in jail in Pathanamthitta in connection with the solar scam in Kerala.
