Amma Kerala Strikers showcased a thumping victory
Amma Kerala Strikers captained by Mohan Lal managed a convincing 10 wicket victory over Mumbai Heores in the Celebrity Cricket League match held at Jawaharlala International Stadium, Kaloor, Ernakulam, Kerala, India.
Electing to bat first after winning the toss Mumbai Heroes, led by skipper Suniel Shetty, had scored 128 runs in the stipulated twenty overs losing nine wickets. Amma Kerala Strikers reached the target in 16.5 overs without losing any wickets.
Rajiv Pillai was adjudged Man of the Match for his outstanding performance, while Manikkuttan was given a special award for a superb catch at Mid Wicket. Rajiv Pilllai, 75 and Nivin Pauly, 16 led Amma Kerala Strikers to victory as the team fared exceedingly well in all other departments especially bowling and fielding.
