Pravasi Vanitha Suraksha Scheme
Who
can enroll for PRAVASI VANITHA SURAKSHA SCHEME ?
- Any
female non-resident Indian working abroad.
- Such
female non-resident Indian should already be enrolled for Pravasi
Suraksha Scheme I or II OR should be applying
simultaneously for Pravasi Suraksha and Pravasi Vanitha. She
also has the option to join the Kudumba Arogya Scheme.
Key
benefits of PRAVASI VANITHA SURAKSHA SCHEME
- Permanent
partial disablement and temporary total disablement due to accident
upto a maximum of Indian Rs. 2,50,000/- Compensation payable
for permanent disability as a percentage of the Capital Sum
Insure of RS. 2,50,000/- depending upon the type of disability.

- Death
due to female-related occurrences such as complications arising
out of childbirth, caesarian operations etc.
provided such death occurs within 7 days from the date of the
event. The coverage is Rs. 50,000/-
- Snatching
of Jewellery : Snatching of Jewellery while being worn on the
person of the Insured whilst travelling in a public
place anywhere in the world upto a sum not exceeding Rs.50,
000/-
- Loss
of personal baggage upto an amount not exceeding Rs. 25,000/-
for loss, destruction or damage by accident or
misfortune during travel.
- Legal
expenses due to work related harassment upto a maximum of Rs.
50,000/- is reimbursable to the Insured for
protecting herself against personal harassment at the work place.
Such expenses and necessity thereof shall be
certified by the respective Indian Embassy.
